Established in 2014, Cork & Crust Pizzeria + Wine Bar’s ultimate mission is to provide a world-class dining experience with award-winning superior cuisine, a distinguished wine list, and outstanding customer service. Our classic hand-tossed pizza crust is made with flour imported from Italy, and our house-made pasta is made daily to provide our valued guests with the highest quality product possible. Jim O’Brien


Jim O’Brien started in the hospitality industry while living on Long Island working in several NY Style Deli’s. Jim left the industry and pursued a career in Telecommunications. Jim worked for the Associated Press as Assistant Communications Executive in NYC. After leaving Associated Press, Jim worked for several communications companies including TCG Communications in Staten Island NY (Director), ICG Communications in Denver CO (SVP of Operations), Deltacom in Alabama (EVP of Operations) and Earthlink (EVP Infastructure, Engineering and Operations) in Alabama. Jim is excited to be back in the hospitality business.



Eric To

Owner + Sommelier

Cork & Crust Pizzeria + Wine Bar’s Co-Owner and Directing Manager, Eric To, is an “International Sommelier Guild” Certified Sommelier and holds a BA degree in Hospitality.

Eric is the true definition of a people-person with a natural ability to make his guests feel welcome, comfortable, and at ease. By crafting a diverse award-winning wine list, Eric aims to provide his guests with the highest quality cuisine, service and atmosphere. With the motto of, “Drink what you like!” his goal is to make wine approachable and understandable to all.

Prior to moving to Madison, Alabama with his wife and son, Eric spent 15+ years in Denver, Colorado, directing wine programs in some of the city’s finest hotels and restaurants.  He has trained and studied in some of the world’s most-respected vineyards in Germany, France, and Napa Valley. Eric’s wine lists have been recognized nationally by 5280 Magazine and he was Beverage Annalist Magazines “Sommelier of the Month” in 2007 & 2010.
